Important Message Regarding COVID-19

Cornell University has closely monitored the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The health, safety and well-being of our community is our top priority, and we are working closely with local and state public health officials. Cornell has decided to take a series of proactive measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, including the move to remote work for all employees, effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020 until further notice. As a result, we will be limiting the services provided by the Cornell Food Venture Center, effective immediately. We will send analytical results for any samples received on or before Friday, March 13. We will no longer be accepting new samples, and all in-person meetings and workshops are postponed until further notice. We expect to be available by phone and email during this time. Services that can be performed without the need of laboratory support (including scheduled processes for products manufactured by companies equipped to do their own testing or provided by external laboratories) will continue. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes, as we know this is already a challenging time for you all. Please refer to the IFS Website for up-to-date information.

Please stay safe, and we will continue to support you to the best of our ability.
